Using Boppa

Boppa is free to use right now. We may add paid features later and will say so clearly on the site before anything changes.

Hosts need an account. Guests don’t — they join with a party code or QR code.

Hosts are responsible for their party

You decide what appears on your big screen. Let your guests know their photos may be shown on the screen, and use photo approval if you want to check each photo first.

Follow the laws that apply to your event, including about photographing people and children.

What you can upload

Only upload files you own or have permission to use — including any photos, music videos, movie clips, artwork or logos in them.

You are responsible for what you upload, including any copyright or trademark claims about it.

Nothing offensive, hateful, sexual or illegal, and no one in a photo without their consent.

What we can do

We may remove files or photos that break these rules, and end parties or accounts that misuse Boppa.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep Boppa running, but it is provided “as is”. Keep your own copies of photos that matter to you — download them after the party.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest change.
